Pinellas County - Florida 

Pinellas County is a peninsula located between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.  This offers the county and its residents many diverse ways to enjoy their natural surroundings.  The County has 14 larger, main parks and many other state parks, in which to kayak, canoe, and camp.  Some of the more popular attractions to Pinellas County are the long stretching, white sandy beaches.  In fact, Clearwater Beach has been rated one of the best beaches in the United States for several years!  The surf isn't necessarily anything to write home about, but there are much more activities to keep you occupied while enjoying the Florida sun.
