Volusia County Florida
Located on the East Coast of Florida about an hour's drive northeast of Walt Disney World, Volusia County offers miles of sandy beaches (fresh and saltwater), nature trails, scenic highways, award-winning resorts, golf and other amenities. The county seat is DeLand, and county population is approximately 500,000. Daytona Beach is a popular vacation destination, and is Volusia County's best known city. Daytona Beach is host to many popular events such as the Daytona 500, Bike Week, Biketoberfest, and spring break. Daytona is also home to professional sports organizations ISC Motorsports and the LPGA Tour.
