Park City is rated one of the top Ski & Snowboard destinations in the world. With three world-class resorts (Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons Resort) within a few miles of each other, you can spend a week skiing and never repeat the same run. Of course, most of the runs are worth doing a couple of times. With steeps, bumps, trees and cruisers ranging from novice to advanced, skiers encounter incredible terrain spread out over seven peaks and eight bowls. Gladed areas and moguls give skiers the ultimate experience. Whether you are knee deep in powder coming down the black diamonds from the Ninety-nine 90 lift or cruising down the wide-groomed sidewinder trail or testing your stamina on the bumps of Thaynes, it just doesn't get any better anywhere else. There are  hundreds of runs for beginners on up to experts.

Utah is known for its light fluffy powder snow. There's a magical phenomenon of the combination of cold temperature, dry air, and moisture from the Great Salt Lake that makes Utah snow lighter and softer than any other snow. Each year, over 400 inches of this incredible snow drops on the mountains of Park City, just waiting for you to try it out.

Winter activities include Alpine Skiing, Cross-country Skiing, Helicopter Skiing, Sleigh Rides, Snow Tubing, Snow Mobiling, and Snowshoeing. Although the Park City area is reknowned for its winter sports, it offers warm-weather activities as well, including golfing, mountain biking and hiking, fishing, boating, white-water rafting, horseback riding, camping, and hot-air ballooning. Lodging rates are generally 20 percent lower in warm weather.
