Learn about the Springs!

Blue Spring is a first magnitude spring getaway that discharges 104 million gallons of water daily into the St. Johns River. Crystal clear waters that reach 24 feet deep near the docks with a mile long board walk make this beautiful attraction one to enjoy. During the summers, one may take into consideration the consistant 72 degree water temperature that is sure to cool them down on a hot Florida afternoon. Even if the air is cold and the water is colder, Manatees are a true star in this area. These springs are a natural habitat for their migration in the winter time providing a great view of nature itself. If that doesn't suit your being, you have the opions for conoeing, kayaking, camping or just having a cook out along the Santa Fe River. Hiking Trails travel throughout the Blue Springs property and offer a quiet getaway to walk and explore nature. You will see flora, fauna, and many other creatures in their natural habitats. Whatever you like to do, Blue Springs is for you! OPEN YEAR ROUND BLUE SPRINGS IS A PRIVATELY OWNED PARK WINTER HOURS 9:00am-5:00pm. Open 7 days per week. Driving Directions: Take exit 114 off Interstate 4 and follow the signs. Go south on 17/92 to Orange City, about 2.5 miles. Make a right onto West French Avenue.
